I have been using JAMA and have made changes to the codebase that I hope 
you will find useful.  Here are the recent changes.  Please let me know 
if I can send to you the project files. 


Changes Since Version 1.0.2 - September 08, 2008

Now using Maven to build the project.
Now using JUnit to test all functionality.
Made minor changes to code in response to PMD warnings.
Simplified complex classes by refactoring and creating new classes: 
Format, MagicSquare, TestUtilities.
In Matrix class, replaced print methods with toString methods.
