Re: PKI-TWG: Call for Agenda Items

Sara et al.
Although PKI is a security technology it seems that the application of PKI ought to be of some interest for a technical working group.  This is by no means covered by any other FPKI group.

Therefore I suggest that you start with "theme days" where a certain aspect of PKI usage is covered by different parties.

Some possible themes:

- Org-to-org PKI.  Enterprise (employee) PKI versus gateway PKI
- Online signing. For what purpose?  How?  Standards?
- Smart cards versus smart devices (mobile phones) as "trusted key-rings"
- Employee IDs: A federal identity or an agency identity?

All extremely controversial subjects, but we need these debates as they will reveal where there are white areas on the PKI map.

thanx
