Will be based on main-stream consumer technology like mobile phones, making it fully deployable for the entire connected population
 
Will due to its integrated security terminal offer state-of-the-art security
 
Will directly support GPEA (Government Paperwork Elimination Act) as it is a part of a "high-level architecture for secure information exchange and collaboration"
 
Will enable convenient payments and purchasing operations due to the support of "virtual resources" like 3D Secure
 
Will due to the former replace expensive-to-administer PCards (Purchasing Cards) with zero-client on-line schemes
 
Will be usable together with any personal computer as it only needs default SW+HW
 
Will enable users to carry out their business regardless where they are located
 
Will enable users to have any number of credentials and multiple authentication technologies, eliminating the need for multiple devices
 
Will be usable for any purpose or business role
 
Will connect as PC slave devices, support the mobile Internet, as well as supporting local scenarios involving POS-terminals, doors, ATMs, passport controls
 
Will support any biometrics, including video clips
 
Will be shipping in high volume before the end of the decade
 
Is simply a collection of already available technologies or technologies that are soon to be released such a Wireless USB
