Dear all,
responding to Alan's mail informing us about the proposal for the TREC
2001 Video Track, Joop and I would like to suggest to apply the video
retrieval quality measure we presented in our RIAO2000 paper ("Where is
the best Tango Argentino..."). It could be applied to the third issue in
evaluation ("General statement of information need").

We are both very interested in applying our ideas within such a TREC
exercise and discussing the approach with all members of this group.
