Using speech transcripts in TREC2002 Video track ..

Folks

During the TREC2001 meeting last November there was talk of groups who
do automatic speech recognition making their ASR transcripts available
to others in the track.  This happened to a small extent last year.  I'd
like to gauge interest in doing this again this year, so, if your
organisation is:

(a) interested in using speech transcripts from an ASR process as part
of your TREC2002 video track activity 

- or - 

(b) in a position to actually perform ASR and make the output available
to others

then please reply directly to me, unless you want to make a point that
goes back to the full trecvid list.  I'll summarise the interest, report
back to this list, and spin off a separate email discussion about the
logistics of this among the interested parties.
