Call for participation in TRECVID 2009

Hi,

You are receiving this email because you've indicated an interest in
participating in TRECVID 2009. The call for participation and an initial
version of the guidelines are now available from the main TRECVID web
page (http://trecvid.nist.gov). Here are the steps to follow:

1) read the Call and then study the relevant parts of the Guidelines
    to see if you want to participate and believe you can complete one
    or more of the TRECVID 2009 tasks on the schedule in the guidelines.

2) if you decide to participate, follow the directions in the call for
    applying as soon as possible, before 27. February.

3) once you have applied, you will receive a confirmation and be subscribed
    to the TRECVID 2009 email list (tv9list). During February and March
    there will be time for discussion of the draft guidelines on the tv9list.
    During March you will receive information about how to get the development
    and test data.
