The US National Body for JTC1 SC35 is requested to vote and provide comments on PDTR 15440 - Information technology - Technical Report on future keyboards and other associated input devices and related entry methods. This proposed draft technical report has been prepared by SC35 WG1 on keyboards and input interfaces. Please find attached the PDTR 15440 and the letter ballot form. The US as P-Member has to vote, and may provide any comments to SC35, due 2003-04-14. Please provide your comments via email through this mailing list, by 2004-03-14. V2 will then make a recommendation to INCITS regarding the letter ballot. Stage 5 (publication stage): An TR is being prepared for publication. Section 9.4 of the JTC1 directives regulates voting on PDTRs: "If the consideration of a CD/PDAM/PDISP/PDTR is dealt with by correspondence, P-members and TCs and organizations in liaison are asked to submit their comments (and P-members their votes, see 9.1.5) by a specified date (see Form G7).
