Here
is a request from INCITS to make a recommendation on the NP criteria document
(the one that was all the fuzz about in the last days).
We'll
have to talk at the plenary, first day (Oct. 4 deadline).
Proposed recommendation (by GZ):
V2
recommends to add new NP criteria as proposed by the SC35 report, J1N7571.
V2 feels that the proposed NP criteria will motivate new work item proposers to
consider issues on user accommodation when planning for a new
project. In particular, V2 supports the addition of E.3 "Features for the
Accommodation of Human Functioning" and E.4 "Features for the Accommodation of
Context of Use" in an effort to promote the inclusion of accessibility
principles in the development of standards.
