Protecting Government Information

This presentation will address what you need to know about the requirements for protecting Government information.  This will include: the definition of what constitutes Government information;  applicable policy, law, and procedure; and some of the relevant statutes (for example, the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, and the Trade Secrets Act).  In addition, we will explore how Government information should be maintained and retained and who may properly have access to that information.
